Evan Myers
Evan Myers is an associate attorney at Seymour & Vaughn. Originally from Abilene, Texas, Evan is a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2014, where he earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. He continued his education at South Texas College of Law in Houston, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2017 and gaining early exposure to criminal defense through a legal internship.
Before joining Seymour & Vaughn, Evan spent six years as a prosecutor in Harris, Comal, and Bexar counties. His time as a prosecutor gave him valuable, behind-the-scenes insight into the criminal justice system, as well as extensive experience handling a wide range of cases, including asset forfeitures, family violence, DWI, aggravated assault, drug-related offenses, and juvenile cases.
Evan’s work in criminal law has taught him that every case—no matter how big or how small—can carry serious, life-changing consequences. As a defense attorney, he is committed to providing exceptional legal representation and passionately protecting his clients’ Constitutional rights. His approach emphasizes educating clients on the details and implications of their case, empowering them to make informed decisions for their future.
When Evan isn’t advocating for clients, he enjoys studying history, cheering for his beloved Texas A&M Aggies, and spending time with family and friends.
